Bobby Burgin MAIDEN Bobby Ray Burgin, 54, of Maiden, passed away Sunday, April 15, 2012, due to a motorcycle accident. Born Feb. 13, 1958, in Peewee Valley, Ky., he was the son of the late Joseph Burgin. Bobby was a member of First Baptist Church in Maiden and enjoyed spending time with family and riding his Harley. In addition to his father, a brother, Billy Burgin, preceded him in death. Left to cherish his memory are one son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Amber Burgin of Newton; one daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Barry Michael of Newton; his mother, Edith Towery of Maiden; one grandson, Brayton Hillen; two grand-daughters, Lexie Michael and Macy Michael; three sisters, Regina Morgan, Cynthia Morgan and Rebecca Hendricks, all of Maiden; three brothers, Bruce Burgin, Brian Burgin and Boyd Burgin, all of Maiden; and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral service will be held Thursday, April 19, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Maiden with the Revs. Eddie Andrews and Marion Powell officiating. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Maiden City Cemetery, Maiden.
