Brian Roseman

Brian E. Roseman CONOVER Brian E. Roseman, 49, of Conover died unexpectedly Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012 from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. Born Oct. 15, 1962 in Catawba County, he was the son of C. E. "Sonny" Roseman, Jr. and the late Doris Anne Elmore Roseman. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Conover and worked with his family at C.R. Laine Furniture Company. A racing enthusiast, Brian enjoyed racing and building sprint race cars. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Eric Roseman. He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Thornburg Roseman, of the home; sons, Charles Andrew Roseman, of the home, and James Edward Winstead, of the home, and Zachary Glenn Winstead, of the home; father, C.E. "Sonny" Roseman, Jr. and his wife, Adele H. Roseman, of Conover; brother, Warren Frye and his wife, Stephanie of Hickory; sister, Charlotte Sharpe and her husband, Smith of Conover; father-in-law and mother-in-law, F.E. Thornburg, Jr. and Mary Clapp Thornburg of Newton; uncles, Terry Elmore, Billy Elmore, Doug Elmore, and Thad Elmore; aunt, Elaine Engelhard; nieces and nephews, Larren Frye, Greyson Frye, Beatty Sharpe, Adele Sharpe, and Lillian Sharpe. A service of remembrance will be held Friday, Feb. 10, at 3 p.m. at Concordia Lutheran Church with the Rev. Paul Nelson and Vicar Steve Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the church.
