Wow! This is really touching to me! I just found out today that a dear old friend of mine had passed! I wish I was there to show my respects! My cornerback that I played with who was someone speacial to all of us! I remember how he would always laugh and smile all the time during school and even on the football field! My greatest sympathies go out to his family! He will be missed very much! God Bless!

Roger, Teresa and Haley,

It is so difficult to know what to say in a time like this, however, I want you to all know you are in my thoughts and prayers continuously. I have thought many times of the good times our families had when you lived in our neighborhood. I regret that circumstances and our busy lives hindered us from staying in touch. I will continue to lift your family up to God. May he provide you peace during this most difficult time.

Surry baseball brought Chris into our lives. My husband Paul and Chris played ball together there in college and quickly became close friends. 10 years have passed and their friendship has stayed strong. Chris will be deeply missed. We share your sorrow and tears. with love

My deepest sympathies go out to all family members of Chris. Chris was one of my dearest friends. We spent many years of our lives together and have so many untold stories. It is funny how life can separate people that are so close. Chris and I went our seperate ways after High School with neither of us having the intention of purposely doing so. Just two weeks ago Chris called me and we proceeded to have three phone conversations during that week. This is the first time we had spoken with one another in nearly five years. I was thrilled to hear from him and we had the intentions of meeting up with one another the next time he was in town. Chris will always have a special place in my heart and so will Roger, Teresa and Haley. I told someone just yesterday that Chris and I shared parents for many years of our teenage lives. I felt like I was Roger and Teresa's kid at times and I am sure Chris felt the same way about my family. Chris will be dearly missed by many.

Roger and Teresa,
Peggy and I are so very sorry for your loss. 'Huff' was one of Paul's best of friends, we saw him often and were very fond of him. I could always count on ragging him about something and getting it right back. I just don't know what to write...We will miss him very much.

Roger, Teresa & Haley I am so sorry to hear about Chris. I have not seen any of you in such a very long time but I have great memories when I was young babysitting Chris and Haley, sledding in your backyard in the winters when we had huge snows and just hanging out with all you. That was great memories. Chris had such an infectious smile that I know will be greatly missed. I wanted to let you know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. God be with you all and give you peace.

Teresa & Roger, Though there are no words that we can say right now to ease or take away your pain of losing Chris we are deeply sorry. I suppose God needed another angel right now and he chose Chris. So many times in life we take things for granted. We get so use to the "everyday" things in our lives that we sometimes forget about the precious gifts that make life worth living. Your son was a gift to you and everyone around him. It makes us sad to know that we are not going to see that gorgeous smile that would light a room up and I will miss hearing Brenden talk about his cousin Chris playing football with him. He loves Chris so much and he is very sad. His memory will become a treasure for you to hold and he will forever be in your heart. Haley, We are so sorry! I wish there was more for us to say but there are no words that will make you feel better. Just know you are in our thoughts and prayers and we love you. Even though we havent seen you in a while you all have crossed our minds and our hearts. To the other family members, take comfort in knowing that you have very special memories of Chris and let those memories help get you through this difficult time. May the Lord bless you and keep you close during this difficult time!

Words can not express the deep sorrow I feel for your family. While Chris will be sadly missed, he will never be forgotten. His smile and charm were felt by so many. You should feel honored to have raised such a wonderful person. He had a heart of gold and an unforgettable personality.

I just want to express my deepest sympathy to Chris's friends and family. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. I've known Chris since we were in elementary school. I was telling my mother about his passing and remembered a story about a prank he and Joey pulled years ago that involved a really loud four-wheeler. Chris was always so happy, funny, full of life, and had such a beautiful smile..it was infectious. He will be greatly missed!

Roger and Phyllis, I've grown so close to your children over the years, and it tears at my heart to know I won't see Chris's smiling face anymore. I love you both very much and will continue to pray for your whole family. I love you guys. Jill
