I am so sorry for your loss of Curtis. I was a classmate of his and before we could drive to school, I was a fellow busrider. Even when I saw him last year at the cookout/yard sale benefit, he was still the same...just a nice guy. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I just found out today when I was reading the paper about Curtis's death, I wished we could have come and paid our respect to you and the boys. Timothy played T-ball with our son and that is how we met Curtis. He also put the siding on our house and would stop by from time to time just to talk. I hate to hear about this but all of his pain and suffering is over. Please let us know if we can do anything for the family. I just told Monte on Saturday that he needed to come by and check on Curtis to see how he was doing.

I'm very saddened to hear about Curtis. I remember his carefree and go-lucky nature in high school and also his honest caring way with everyone. I'm so thankful to know he will be healthy now and at peace with His Savior.

I have wonderful memories of Curtis during our school years. The loss of a son, husband, father and friend is a heavy burden. However, you do not walk alone on this path. Others care and walk with you on this journey. I wish you peace and comfort.

I haven't seen Curtis in many years, but I remember him well. Curtis was one of the nicest, most sincere guys I knew while at SSHS. He was always upbeat and having fun and I have no doubt the world is worse off without him. But rather than be sad, we should all remember the many ways in which Curtis made us smile and be thankful for his life! I pray that God makes His presence felt by Curtis' family and gives them strength and comfort.
