Frankie became my friend when she was working as an aide to one of my special education students. She and I became close and she helped me when I decided to move to Washington. She gave me a going away party when I left Ohio with a cake that said "Watch out Washington, here she comes." Pure Frankie humor. We have kept in touch through facebook and then she phoned me this summer. We had a wonderful time talking and laughing.
Frankie lived her faith, she was kind and loving and sensitive to others. My friend Franklin ( my nickname for her, ) meant a lot to me. She loved her family and was proud of each of them. She often talked to me about Kelly since I also taught children with special needs, but also talked of Marcy and Kevin's accomplishments. Her beloved Marty was always present in our conversations. God bless and keep her family. I know the days ahead will be full of missing her bright light. I will always cherish her memory. Love, Mar

I met Frankie at Otterbein University and became friends very quickly. We had such fun together and shared so many memories. Frankie was a friend to everyone. Over the years, we have stayed in touch, seeing each other several times. The last time was at our Otterbein Class of 1964 50th Reunion. We were able to stay in touch through Facebook - so glad for that. I am sending love and prayers to all her family. Always cherish your memories, with time, they will make your heart smile.

I am so very saddened by the news that my treasured old college friend has passed away. Frankie and I met in our dorm at Otterbein College and hit it off on our very first meeting. We have remained connected all these years. She and Marty actually came to visit us in West Vancouver, Canada a number of years ago. When they left, she gave me a hostess gift. It is a beautiful porcelain Starbucks coffee container. Each and every morning after, when I made coffee, I would spoon out coffee grounds from that container - and think of Frankie. This has been going on for a number of years. Each day I make our coffee and think of Frankie. My daily memories will continue, but now hinged with a bit of sadness. I loved this remarkable woman - and will always. Sending love and healing prayers to all her family. Goodbye, old friend. The world will miss you - and so will I. See you on the other side! Love, Lois
