Dear family of Jane Turner,
I worked with Jane in the Guidance office at Hickory High from 1986 until she retired in 1990. She was a very kind and caring person, diligent in her work with the students and was liked and respected by all. My sympathy to all of you in the passing of a wonderful lady. Sincerely,

Evelyn K. Moore

My husband and I were very fond of "Miss Burns". We both consider her one of our very favorite teachers. She was an excellent English teacher and Drama coach. She was able to coax Paul into being in his junior class play. Only Miss Burns could have accomplished that. We both have very fond memories of her. She was a very fine lady. We offer our condolences to her family.
