August 24, 1990 - May 16, 2021
Mr. Josh Allen Lail, 30, of Connelly Springs, passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021, at his residence, following a period of declining health.
Josh was born Aug. 24, 1990, in Catawba County, to Lorenia Lail and the late Gary Allen Lail.
He loved fishing, hunting and anything to do with the two.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by the wonderful mother of his children, Casey Walker; children, Katelyn Lail, and Mason Lail; brother, Jeff Hill and wife, Sherrie; sister, Amy Lail Prestwood and husband, Keith; nieces and nephews, Toby Hill, Jake Prestwood and Ellie Hill.
A funeral service will be held Friday, May 21, at 3 p.m., at Shoup's Grove Baptist Church in Icard, with interment at Warlicks Cemetery to follow. The Rev. J.C. Bradley and the Rev. Rick Davis will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 20, from 4 to 6 p.m., at Heritage Funeral Service & Crematory in Valdese.

Im miss you, dont know who i will call if I ever need someone. Maybe by the time I see ya again I will have learn some better qualities on being just as good of a friend not some times but hopefully all the times... I didnt get to tell you about me burning my foot when the bike caught fire, or go fishing one last time, or sit on your porch and chat about how little sense some have.. I just hope dear friend my sacrifices are well picked. You never know how good of people you have till you dont.... Untill... And jenny graduates May 26th 2020, help a sis make sure I get there. Blake still needs his friend in his corner, but mostly I want to know you know I'm totally sorry and always miss my driver/lifetime friend... Your not replaceable and I do my best to check on your mom and kids best I can when I can.

Josh, I really cant believe your gone. You are such a good person, and you have been a great friend. This world will be little dull without you in it. I am going to miss you. I love you. Your friend RIP JOSH I WILL NOT FORGET YOU!

Josh lail was a good guy and friend. If anyone needed him he was there, he gets to go home to his daddy now and Josh will be missed.
