August 21, 1961 - July 16, 2021
Kellie Hollar Vinson, 59, of Conover, passed away Friday, July 16, 2021.
Born Aug. 21, 1961, she was the daughter of Lewis and Linda Hollar.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Dr. James Douglas Vinson; and son, Grant Vinson.
She was preceded in death by her son Grey Vinson; and two brothers, Kirk Hollar and Marty Hollar.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, July 23, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Conover, with Pastor Anton Lagoutine officiating. Interment will follow at St. John's Lutheran Church Columbarium. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m., at the church, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Camp Linn-Haven Bridge Fund, 1308 Linville Falls Hwy., Newland NC 28657.

Our thoughts, prayers and deepest sympathy are with you... Doug, Grant, Lew, Pooh, and the rest of the family and friends. Kellie was always smiling! She had the best sense of humor. The best times were at Camp Linn Haven when Kellie, Marty and Kirk were together! We would laugh soooo hard, we couldn't breath. I can only imagine those 3 cutting up again in heaven! Kel, we love you and you will be greatly missed! RIP... Until we can all laugh together again!!
