October 15, 1968 - June 13, 2023
Leah Daniele Lowdermilk, age 54, of Newton, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. Leah was born in Catawba County on Tuesday, October 15, 1968 to Larry and Pam Lowdermilk.
Leah was a member of First Methodist Church in Conover, attended Newton Conover High School and graduated from Appalachian State University with a business degree. Leah worked in furniture sales and customer service. She loved to relate with people and never met a stranger. Leah enjoyed the outdoors, hiking and camping. She will be remembered for her fun loving spirit and her smiles.
Those left to cherish Leah's memory are parents, Larry and Pam Lowdermilk; son, Bryson Lowdermilk; brothers, Bart Lowdermilk (Jackie), Kurtis Lowdermilk; aunts, Sherry Lowdermilk, Debbie Rose and uncle, Richard Harwell (Susan). She was preceded in death by her uncles, Bruce and David Lowdermilk.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 23, 2023 at First Methodist Church in Conover with Reverend John Woods officiating. The family will receive from 2 to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
