Michael D. Link Sr.

MORGANTON - Mr. Michael Dean Link Sr., 39, of 315 Golf Course Road, Apt. 205, Morganton, entered eternity on Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, at his residence. Born Jan. 16, 1967, in Catawba County, he was a son of the late Clyde and Beauty Mae Farley Link. He attended Shiloh AME Church, attended Winston-Salem State University and was employed by Technibilt, Ltd. as a forklift operator. Survivors include his wife of seven years, Mrs. Kimberly Dawn Caldwell Link of the home; daughter, Bethany Patrice Link; two sons, Michael Dean Link Jr. and Tylor Kye Link, all of Conover; two brothers, Edward Farley of Marion and Rayvon Link of Morganton; a sister, Teresa Redman of Arlington, Va.; a mother-in-law, Nancy C. Caldwell of Morganton; two nephews; two nieces; and a host of other relatives and friends. The funeral service will be held Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Fleming Memorial Chapel at Ebony Funeral Services, with the Rev. Dr. H.S. Williams officiating. The Link family will receive friends from 10:30 to 10:55 a.m. at the chapel prior to the service. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery. Ebony Funeral Services of Morganton is assisting the Link family with arrangements.
