Patsy Carpenter, a kind-hearted and selfless soul, passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on March 14, 1953, Patsy was a cherished daughter to the late Garlan "Mack" McCulloch and Garnet Gideon McCulloch in Boise, Idaho.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sweetheart, Linwood Cummings.
Patsy was known for her deep love of crocheting, dedicating much of her time to making baby blankets for newborns, both near and far to her family. Her generosity and warmth were felt by many, and she took great pride in her country. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
Survivors include her daughter, Kristi Becker and husband John, son, Neil Carpenter and significant other, Kim Asa; stepson, Paul Cummings; grandchildren, Emrys Night, Caleb Becker, Jacob Becker, Ethan Becker, Madison Theriot, Bronwyn Becker, Cerrona Becker, Dalton Hupp, Jordan Hupp; great-grandchildren, August Becker, Luca Becker, Levi Becker, Elliott Becker; former husband and friend, Steven Carpenter and wife Komee; and sister-in-law, Linda Jones.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2025 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Hickory Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
