Raymond Leroy Gentry

January 3, 1960 - April 13, 2023

Raymond Leroy Gentry, 63, of Claremont, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 13, 2023.

He was born January 3, 1960 in Newport News, Va. to the late Floyd Gentry and Thelma Devier Gentry. Raymond was employed in the manufacturing industry and was well-known around Claremont.

Those left to cherish his memory are; brothers: Roy Gentry and wife Karen of Wilmington, Del., Floyd Gentry and wife Brenda of Hiddenite; sister: Dorothy Trivette of Hickory.

A memorial service to celebrate Raymond's life will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Claremont. Rev. David Hefner will officiate. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium. The family will receive friends following the service.
