Robert "James" Reinhardt Sr., 71, of Conover, passed away Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory.
Born May 16, 1950, in Catawba County, he was the son of the late Jack Daniel Reinhardt and the late Mary Hefner Reinhardt. He was a member of Providence Road Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, James was also preceded in death by his son, Robert James Reinhardt Jr., who passed away Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Claudia Lovings Reinhardt, of the home; three sons, William Reinhardt and wife, Amanda, of Catawba, Michael Reinhardt of Maiden, Matthew Reinhardt of Hickory; granddaughters, Emily Reinhardt, Erica R. Brown and husband, Jacob; grandson, Casey Baucom; great-granddaughters, Kyleigh Reinhardt, Hadley Brown;
two brothers, Doug Reinhardt of Hickory, Danny Reinhardt of Newton; three sisters, Darlene Fox of Georgia, Annette Lusk of Catawba, Donna Kennedy and husband, Mike, of Newton; and aunt, Hilda Eckard of Claremont.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 3 p.m., at Providence Road Baptist Church in Maiden, with Pastor Charles Worley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 2:45 p.m., at the church, prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Providence Road Baptist Church Missions Fund.
