Tammy Drum Fletcher, 62, of Hickory, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Abernethy Laurels in Newton.
She was born September 2, 1961 in Catawba County to the late Craig Wilson Drum and Elizabeth Little Drum. Tammy was a member of Pisgah United Methodist Church in Catawba, a 1979 graduate of Bandys High School, and was employed in the banking industry. She enjoyed cooking and being Nana to her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joel (Pete) Drum; and sister, Linda Drum.
Those left to cherish her memory are; son: Bryan Fletcher and wife Christine of Benson; sister: Celia Drum and husband Mickey Smith of Newton; grandchildren: Blakely and Berkley Fletcher.
A service to celebrate Tammy's life will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Bennett Funeral Service, 7878 NC Hwy 16, Newton. Rev. Dr. Ed Yount will officiate. A private inurnment will follow at a later date. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1 to 1:45 p.m. at Bennett Funeral Service.
