Timothy Wilkes Obituary

Denver - Timothy Shane Wilkes Jr., 16, of Armstrong Lane in Denver, N.C., passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, in an automobile accident in Denver. Born Nov. 7, 1992, in Pasco County, Fla., he was the son of Timothy Wilkes Sr. and Traci Zinn Wilkes. Shane was a member of Cornerstone Church and a student at East Lincoln High School. Survivors include his parents, Timothy Sr. and Traci Wilkes of the home; two brothers, Christopher Stull and Alix Wilkes of the home; a sister, Miranda Wilkes of the home; a grandmother, Pearl Zinn of the home; and several extended family members. A memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Church at 7 tonight Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, with the Rev. Jonathan Foster officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Memorials may be made to Cornerstone Church, 409 E. Main St., Maiden, N.C. 28650.
