Sally, my sincerest condolences to you and your family having lost Ed. You two were so kind, generous and trusting letting me care for your cats when you traveled, even warning me and leaving me heavy duty gloves to gently and safely handle the ancient, grumpy kitty who needed special care. I enjoyed looking after them and your home. And your humor was always delightful, especially the time I accidentally showed up a day early to pet sit and caught you and Ed in your jammies. Sending peace and affection.

Deacon John and I still fondly recall Ed's joyful birthday celebration at Big Chief Resort years ago. Witnessing his and Sally's fun-loving partnership inspired us all. Ed's longtime service at St. Paul's Horseshoe Bay will be missed. God bless his family.

So sorry and heartbroken to hear about Uncle Ed. He was one of my most adored and certainly loved uncles. I considered myself blessed beyond belief to have an uncle like him throughout my lifetime. He was truly a gift from God. Funny, caring, faithful, joyful, sociable, sympathetic (he attended every funeral in our family) and he was always, always about family. I loved listening to his stories and especially his interests and inquisitive nature about the people around him. I will always remember the best of times with him for the rest of my life. My favorite photo of Aunt Sally and Uncle Ed from their visit in 2011 still sits on my bookcase. My prayers and deepest sympathy to the family. Love from his Niece, Janet and husband Hank.
