Barbara Foxworth Pellicci

1933 - 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Foxworth Pellicci on Saturday morning, November 1, 2025, at Sprenger Heath Care of Port Royal, South Carolina. She was 91. Barbara was born in Marion County, SC, to Henry Gary and Annie Mae Rowell Foxworth. She was the widow of Anthony Thomas Pellicci.

A memorial will be on Tuesday, November 25th, at Sprenger Assisted Living in Port Royal, SC.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to a charity of one's choice.

Barbara was a lyric soprano. She had a radio program while in high school and gave many concerts over the years. After moving to Hilton Head, she founded and served as chairman of the Salt and Light Retreat for 21 years, where women of every age, race, and religious affiliation were welcomed for a weekend of fellowship and teaching. She dedicated her life to Christ and was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband and stepson, Joseph Pellicci.

She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia May (Jim) of Beaufort, SC and Robin Moore (Arthur) of Marion, SC; son, Bryan Orr of Greeneville, TN; stepson, Marty Pellicci (Allison) of Hilton Head, SC; stepdaughter, Laurie McManus (Ed) of Rock Spring, GA; daughter-in-law, Anita Pellicci of Columbia, SC; sister, Joyce Williams of Greenwood, SC; cousins, Norman Foxworth and Jennie Williams of Marion who were like siblings; 6 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; and many beloved cousins.
