Amy Peterson Obituary

BRIGHAM CITY - Our loving and beautiful daughter, Amy Lynne Peterson, 20, returned to her Father in Heaven on Friday, June 8, 2007, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
She was born on March 4, 1987, in Ogden, Utah, a daughter of Kirt Jay Peterson and Susie Williams.
Amy attended Willard and Perry Elementary Schools, Adele C. Young Intermediate School and Ben Franklin Academy.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a member of the Brigham City 21st Ward.
Amy loved spending time with her family and her best friend and fiancé, Brandon Hess. She was a loving and caring mother to her son, "Coop."
Above all, Amy loved her family. She enjoyed all kinds of music, writing, jet skiing, boating, camping and four wheeling. She loved taking time to play with her nieces and nephew, Kenedy, Jackson, Zoe and her little sister, Kalli Jo. Amy was so proud of her brothers, and loved being with them and giving them a hard time. We will all miss her beautiful smiling face and her spontaneous laughter. She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Surviving are her parents, Susie Williams, Brigham City; Kirt (Jodi) Peterson, Bountiful; three brothers, Ryan Kirt (Maggie) Peterson, Roy; Chad Phillip Peterson, Brigham City; Patrick Lorin (Heidi) Peterson, Brigham City; one sister, Kalli Jo Peterson, Bountiful; two stepsisters, Tanda LeeAnn Stewart; Taya Shaelyn Stewart; one step brother, Cory Brad Stewart, all of Bountiful; one son, Cooper Jay Peterson, Brigham City; fiancé, Brandon Hess, Brigham City; her grandparents, Naldi Cutler, Brigham City; Lyle and Corma Peterson, Garland; Bert and LaRayne Hulet, Bountiful.
She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Roger G. Williams; her grandfathers, Jay Arthur Stokes, Phillip L. Cutler; her great grandma, Susie; two uncles, Preston Jay Stokes and Cory Weaver.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to all who offered their assistance at the scene of the accident.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2007, at the Brigham City 21st Ward Chapel, 865 South 300 West.
Family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Gillies Funeral Chapel, 634 East 200 South, Brigham City and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Interment will be in the Willard City Cemetery for family and close friends.

Susie and Family, I'm devistated that you've gone through the loss that you have. I loved Amy like a sister and can't believe she is gone. Please stay strong for Coop and let him know how much his mommy loved him. Life is so fragile it's so hard to grasp and hold onto. I love all of you and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
