Carol Greer Obituary

Carol Denise Jennings Greer
October 10, 1959 - March 2, 2018
On Friday, March 2, 2018, Heavenly Father called home his beautiful angel Carol Denise Greer. She fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. She refused to let cancer define who she was, and through this trial her faith grew towards her Father in Heaven. Her greatest blessings in life were her family and faith.
On Oct. 10, 1959, Carol joined her earthly family in Lubbock, Texas. Her family moved to the Weatherford, Texas, area until her high school years. They then moved to Littleton, Colorado, were she finished at Columbine High school.
Growing up she had a love for working with and riding horses. She loved to barrel race on her horse Goldstar. Throughout her life she loved to craft and make things for others. She was always up for a great adventure. Carol wanted to see and do everything at least once. She loved to travel and see the world with her family.
Her greatest joy was her family. Hearing her family laughing and enjoying a good time was music to her ears. Carol loved and enjoyed all seven of her children and 16 grandchildren. She and her husband enjoyed a marvelous 36 years of marriage. Their strong foundation was full of love, compassion and faith in their Heavenly Father.
Carol is survived by her husband, Steven Ray Greer; her children Evelyn (Roy) Rawlins, Brandon (Mindy) Greer, Jeffery (Teisha) Greer, Victoria (Kai) Callahan, Sean Greer, Matthew (Summer) Greer; her siblings Gloria (Fred) Holder, Arlin (Kathy) Clester, Buddy (Doris) Goen, Karen (Eugene) Stockstill, GayeLynne Jennings, Rowdy (Lori) Jennings, Kevin (Alecia) Greer, Brent (Jalee) Greer, Bradley (Lori) Greer; her mother-in-law Glenda Greer; her 16 grandchildren and many mieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Kristina Greer, her parents Arlin and Patsy Jennings, father-in-law Loren Greer and brother-in-law Ronald Greer.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 8, 2018, at 11 a.m. in the Preston South Stake Center, 55 E. 100 South, in Preston, Idaho. A viewing will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Webb Funeral Home and Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the stake center. Interment will be in the Preston Cemetery.
