Fred Dahle Obituary
10/14/1939 - 12/14/2018
Fred Leland Dahle, 79, Amarillo, TX, passed away Dec. 14, 2018. Funeral service will be Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at 11 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2101 N. Coulter. Service under the direction of Griggs Schooler Gordon Funeral Directors. Interment to follow at Llano Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Friday, Dec. 21, 2018, at Griggs Schooler Gordon from 6 to 8 p.m.
Fred met his sweetheart of 53 years, Marilyn Smith Gunnell, at Utah State University, where they both attended. They were married in the Logan Temple on March 1966. He helped run a successful business in the mortuary industry with his son-in-law Keith Bassett, where he continued to work until he passed away.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law Keith Bassett.
He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn; son Brett Dahle and wife Holly; son Brian Dahle; daughter Stefani Dahle Bassett; two brothers, a sister, nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
