Something I will always remember about Uncle Ken is how he reached out to me after I had graduated from college and was living and working in Boulder. The company that he was working for at the time was also located in Boulder. He called me up at my job at a PR firm and asked me to lunch. I felt like a real adult! At lunch he asked if I could take photos of the manufacturing process and computer aided design of the respirator that his company produced. I was thrilled and terrified and the same time. Being asked to document work that he was involved in was huge.

Thank you Uncle Ken. Love and Hugs. Hope you are at peace.

Sledding on the hill by the Happy Canyon house, epic snowball fight, Thanksgiving touch football game, catapults, Motorcycle Madness, golfing, Pachinko, sitting by the campfire, fishing at Trapper Lake, Bronco games, drinking Christmas Slivovitz (sp?), cussing at the "train" in the field while trying to start it....and an amazing work ethic. Those are the things I will remember about Ken. He was a good provider, father-in-law, and grandpa to my kids and I will miss him.

May God give him the rest he so richly deserves and provide peace and comfort for his family.

You were a man of strong work ethic and even stronger commitment to family - your children have mirrored you. In that, you accomplished everything a person could want in life.

I will miss sharing conversations about the many things we talked about. I enjoyed Wii Bowling, after dinner walks around Lariat, Canasta and other evening games, helping to brighten up your yard last summer followed by a beautiful day in Logan Canyon with family. There will be some emptiness now, but it will be filled so many memories.

Rest peacefully and watch over all of us.

Miss you, Dad! You were strong and overcame much adversity to achieve success. We noticed and learned. You were an excellent provider. I know this was your expression of love to us. Glad we had Christmas together. Nothing was left unsaid. Love you!

One of my favorite memories with Uncle Ken was riding the mini roller coaster he built in front of your house. He will be missed!

Here is some early 'engineering' in our family. I was surrounded by artistic and engineering talent - why not choose architecture?

I have been thinking a lot about Uncle Ken, Aunt Janet, and my cousins these past couple of weeks. I hear Uncle Ken's voice, and I hope I never forget it. Whenever I see a Pachinko machine, I will think of him! And I will always remember the go-cart on the circular track in the field! Good times! Oh, and my first smoke of a cigar was thanks to him! He was a stern, powerful force. He kept all 8 cousins in line, not an easy job. But, we always felt welcome on Lariat Loop. My love to my cousins and Aunt Janet as they deal with their grief and process their loss.
