Jeremy David Downs - our beloved son, brother, and friend - passed from this world to a better one April 11, 2017.
Jeremy was born Aug. 21, 1990, in Ogden, Utah. He spent his childhood in Cache Valley before moving to Kaysville, Utah, as a teen. He excelled in a variety of sports throughout his life. He was active, energetic and daring. Later in life he developed a love and talent for composing beautiful music. Most important, Jeremy was kind, and he was a friend to all.
Jeremy graduated from Davis High School in 2008. He then served as a valiant missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Texas Fort Worth Mission from 2009-11. Jeremy will always be remembered for the happiness and immeasurable good that he brought into our lives.
Jeremy is survived by his parents Daryl and Allison Downs of Kaysville; his siblings Jordan, Danielle Brighton (Eric), Adria, Jonathan, Joshua, Anne, and Jacob; and his grandparents Georgia Downs of Smithfield, Utah, and Earl and Marilyn Steiger of Salina, Utah. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, L. Rolan Downs.
A viewing will be held Friday, April 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Russon Mortuary, 1941 N. Main St., Farmington. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 15, at noon at the Kaysville South Stake Center, 900 S. Main St., Kaysville, with a viewing from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at the Kaysville City Cemetery. Online guest book at www.russonmortuary.com.
