Karma Walsh Obituary
Karma Rae "Kay" Albretsen Walsh passed away on June 15, 2014, in Lynchburg, Virginia. She was born in Richmond, Utah, on May 28, 1930, the first child of Jule and Guelda Albretsen, and was raised in Hyrum, Utah.
Kanna was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was educated in Cache County, Utah schools. She attended LDS Business College. In 1950 she became a Wave in the U.S. Navy where she met Patrick Walsh, whom she married in Crown Point, Indiana, on July 5, 1952. She left the Navy to raise her family. Upon her husband's retirement from the Navy the family settled in Lynchburg, Virginia, where after 50 years of marriage he preceded her in death.
Surviving her are her siblings, Bruce (Connie) Albretsen of Bountiful, Utah; Gloria (Steve) Aller of Tempe, Ariz.; Cheryl (Dale) Fullmer of Logan, Utah; Margene (Kim) Leishman of Centerville, Utah; Peggy Christianson of Chandler, Ariz.; and Steve (Chris) Albretsen; her daughters, Carolyn Walsh of San Francisco, Calif.; Patti Burnett of Riverton, Utah; Sandi (Eric) Mauk of Daytona Fla.; and her son, Rick (Deronda) Walsh of Woodridge, Va.; and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted June 19, 2014, at a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lynchburg, Virginia. Condolences may be made at Diuquidfuneralservice.com.

Although I read HJ from Indiana I appreciate family putting the obituary in paper. Karma Rae "K" was a beautiful part of growing up in Hyrum 1st. Many hours I spent at Jule and Guelda's house. Loved K for years. I last heard from her last fall. Love and sympathy to wonderful family. I actually remember several siblings.Jeri McBride Woodward
