Lunella Barker Obituary
Lunella was born June 26 1927 at the Camp Lifton Idaho Power plant on the north end of Bear Lake. Five houses were built for the workers who were constructing the new Power plant. Joseph W Hemmert (deceased) and his wife Melba Nye Hemmert (deceased) lived in the third house. Their five children, Birdena, Lunella, Monta, Artheta and James were born there.
Lunella is survived by her children; Vernon (Karen), Norman (Cheri), Garth (Jackie), Dreena (Don), Max (Ilene) Barker. Twenty-one grandchildren and many more great and great-great grandchildren, one sister, Monta Benson and one brother James Hemmert.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Melba and Joseph William Hemmert, and two sisters, Birdena Clampitt and Artheta Anderson and one grand-daughter Michelle Naylor.
Viewing will be held at Allen-Hall Mortuary 34 east center street ,Logan Utah 84321, November 13, 2025, at 10:00am until 11:00. A graveside service will be held at Logan Cemetery at 12:00 noon.
