He was loved and will be greatly missed by his family & friends.

Dick's career was in musical instrument manufacturing for 47 years. He started with the Wurlitzer Co. in DeKalb, Illinois which led to a move to become the Production Manager at the Wurlitzer plant in Logan, Utah. Other transfers include; Wurlitzer in Holly Springs, MS; Mason & Hamblin Piano and Sohmer Piano Co. in Niantic, CT and Shamokin, PA and finally to Kawai America Mfg. in Lincolnton, NC where he retired. After Judy's passing in 2016 he moved to Lexington, SC and then to Logan, UT.

He was also a member of The Lincolnton Rotary Club, Lincolnton Manufacturing Association, Cultural Center Board, and the Piano Technicians Guild. He graduated from DeKalb High School in 1958 and also attended Kishwaukee Junior College and Northern Illinois University.

Dick loved keeping up with the news and photos of his family. He was an avid NC Panthers Football fan. He enjoyed creatively decorating his home for Christmas, trailer camping in FL, tinkering in his garage with woodworking tools, caring for his Yorkie dog and all of his pets, and a fun game of bingo.

"Keep on Trucking!" was his motto to keep going through the challenges in life.

The family would like to offer a special thank you and appreciation to Legacy House of Logan for their kindness, patience, and exemplary care for our dad. We would also like to acknowledge and thank IHC Hospice for their excellent care as well.

There will be no formal funeral ceremony. Dick chose to be cremated and have his ashes spread at a later date with family.
