Valerie Karren Obituary

Valerie Titensor Karren passed away peacefully on October 17, 2024, in Las Vegas, NV she was 88 years old.

Valerie was born in Cove, UT on February 24, 1936 to Lowell and Marjorie Titensor.

She grew up on the family farm in Cove and later moved to Lewiston, UT. She graduated from North Cache High School. She married Neil Karren on April 30, 1954 in the Logan Temple. They were married for 47 years.

Valerie and Neil raised their family in Las Vegas, NV. Valerie was a homemaker, a dedicated wife, and a loving mother. Valerie was a life long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints and served in many positions in the church. Valerie loved serving others especially her children and grandchildren.

Valerie was known for her sense of humor and her ability to talk to anyone no matter where she was. She was everyone's grandma and loved children and babies.

Valerie is survived by her children Doug Karren (Carol) and Susan Lemmon (Don) as well as her grandchildren Craig, Nicole, Chelsea, Emily , Abbey and her great grandchildren Sophia and Savana. She is also survived by her older brother Kay Titensor and sister Carolyn McKnight. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lowell and Marjorie Titensor, her husband Neil Karren, and her sister Helen Lawrence.

A viewing will be held on Saturday October 26th from 10:30-11:30 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at the LDS Chapel at 5601 W. Lone Mountain Rd. Graveside services will be the same day at 2:00 pm. at Bunkers Memory Garden Cemetery at 7251 W Lone Mountain Road.
