Anna Talsma Obituary
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert & Sue Meekhof; husband, Ernest Talsma; brother, Melvin Meekhof; sister, Sena Lenters; inlaws, Ethel Meekhof, Harold Lenters, Marian Schrotenboer, Al & Gert Kraker and Harv Jongekrijg.
She is survived by her children, Terry & Sandy Talsma, Mark & Francie Talsma, Marla & Larry Wittingen, Sue & Dan Hassevoort, Kurt & Lisa Talsma, Karl & Sara Talsma; 24 grand children, many great grand children and great great grand children; brothers, Sid & Jan Meekhof, Roger & Dee Meekhof; inlaws, Winifred Meekhof, Jennie Jongekrijg, Jerry & Jeanne Talsma, Betty & Art Van Order; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at Rusk Christian Reformed Church, 9194 Pierce St. Zeeland with Rev. Mark Neymeiyer officiating. Burial will follow at Rusk Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, March 16 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Rusk Christian Reformed Church. The family is being served by Lakeshore Memorial Services.

My mother, Anna De Young was a sister to her mother Susie. Mom said she was there when Anna Mae was born and heard her first cry.

As a niece, I remember so many good times staying overnight at the farm and the reunions in August. I have so many happy memories of the Talsma family. My heart goes out to you in the loss of a wonderful Christian lady. May you find comfort in God at this times. Jan Pamer (Meekhof)
