Catherine DeFouw Obituary
Born in Borculo, Catherine married Gerald DeFouw in 1946, and moved to East Saugatuck where they owned and operated a farm. Following her husband's death in 2000, she moved to Holland. She was a member of Holland Gospel Chapel where she was active with the mission program and served as an organist.
Catherine is survived by her children, Leslie and Gloria DeFouw of Gallatin, Missouri, Everett and Dawn DeFouw of Hudsonville, Ward and Betty DeFouw of Holland, Debra and Gary Knap of Holland, Penny DeFouw of Ireland, and Jody and Cathleen DeFouw of Weaverville, California; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Anna Hulst of Zeeland, Roger (Myrtle) Wesseldyk of Jennison, Vernon (Isla) DeFouw of Holland; sisters-in-law, Eileen Wesseldyk of Holland, Darleen DeFouw of Holland; as well as several nieces and nephews.
A daughter-in-law, Laurel DeFouw, preceded her in death in 2012.
Funeral services will be Friday, 11 a.m. at Mulder Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes, 188 West 32nd St. with Vern Fuder and Aaron Clark officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call on the family Thursday, 4-7 p.m. at the chapel.

To the DeFouw family
I wish I could meet each and everyone of the family, but am just out of hospital,I wish to send my best to each of the family.. My folks who are living also seen dtheir best.
To the DeFouw family,
I wish I could be at the funeral however I am just out of the hospital.
I send my condolences and also my parents Gerald and Geneva who are in Florida to all the DeFouw family.
