Julian was amazing. Julian's smile could light up an entire room. He was kind, sweet and many more things. You could trust Julian with your life. You didn't even have to talk to Julian to know him. We will miss him very much! Keep on drawing in heaven!

A message from the Eskes Family:
We wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all have showered our family with meals, cards, flowers, hugs, words of compassion and support during this extremely difficult time. Words do not seem to come easily to express our appreciation. Thank you for all of the photos and memories that have been shared and continue to be shared. As we hear, see and understand what love and light he was to everyone who knew him, it brings us joy and comfort as a family.
They say it takes a village to raise a child. We did not fully realize the incredible support that we have here in our cozy little Lakeshore town. We have a truly amazing school system and community. We have family at East, Boys & Girls Club, Christ Memorial Church and our neighborhood here in Westcore that we did not fully realize or appreciate until now. Thank you, truly, for all of the ways you all live and work to love and encourage our children!
Please help us keep Julians memory and legacy alive by extending the same love and care to each other that he always did. It would honor him and us.

Julian was an Artist in every sense of the word. He was surrealist in nature - challenging perspectives of reality, forms, and landscapes. He was one who continuously strive to learn, engage, and challenge his own creative frame by creating worlds and filling them with original characters. His sketchbook along was a marvel. Another word to describe him was mischievous: always charming those around him to smile and laugh. We will all miss his laugh and that warm rare smile. "Some people are artists. Julian was such an amazing kid, he always came to school with a bright smile, and was friendly to everyone. His artwork was so cool to look at, and I miss that so much. RIP Julian Eskes

i miss julian soooo much he is very loved kind nice and a great friend i met julian at west k-7 in 4th grade he was a really good friend and a really good boyfriend to kylee williams r.i.p julian gone but will never be forgoten and will always be in my hart and we hung out at bg every once in a wile and there are soooo many people that love him and apriceate him i am soooo greatful to have met you and i also love how he made feel better when i was down and i will be praying for him every day for a feally long time because he is a really important person to a lot of people.

Julian is a beautiful soul just like Lydia and Seth. They were inseparable. My heart is breaking. I was anxious to see you grow up and see what you would become. May God bless you. You broke everbody's heart when you left.

Julian was a great friend to me and other classmates around him. i would walk into class and i would see him draw a character and we would mess around in class trying to name it and we would sit there laughing while people would just stare at us like we were crazy. I knew him for only about two years but it feel like i knew him longer than that. I regret switching my 1st hour because that would be the only time i seen him. I wish he was still alive because i know that his drawing would get him somewhere in life. R.I.P julian gone but not forgotten

Julian Was a great friend. Someone that i will never forget. He always had that smile that could always make someone' s day. I met Julian at Boy' s and Girl' s Club through Seth and Lydia. I remember working on a art project with him and we won the competition because of our artwork and i loved seeing how talented he was. I always wished that i had his talent. Julian was a well liked person at Boy' s and Girl' s Club and got along with a lot of people and it' s just so sad to see that now he is no longer here. I will always remember him and all the memories we have had even if it wasn't much and all of his beautiful artwork. I just wanna say i wish the best to The Eskes Family as they are dealing with a loss of a loved one and that they' re lots of love and prayers being sent to the family.
