Randall Brown Obituary

Randall Brown

Randall Marshall Brown, Sr of Bonifay, Florida passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at the age of 75. After several months of declining health, Randall died peacefully at home with family by his side.

Randall was born in Bonifay on October 31, 1946 to father John Joseph Brown and mother Edna Jane Day Hilson Brown. The youngest of 6 children, Randall grew up in rural Florida panhandle area. His work ethic and desire to take care of his family led him

to learn the skill of painting and he was one of the best in the business. He was also a skilled teacher of the trade and enjoyed mentoring others, including his son Randall Jr who later established his own successful painting company.

In his free time, Randall loved to fish. One of his greatest pleasures was spending time with his family and friends wetting a line in Wright's Creek. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed good old fashioned conversation. He loved his dogs (many of them over the years) and he had natural ability to train them.

Randall was preceded in death by his wife Martha Kennington Brown. Also, by his parents and by his brother Elwin Brown, sisters Annette Lankford, Helen Smith, Eloise White and Marva-Jean Messina. He is survived by wife Pat Brown; children Janie (Mike) Lester, Wendy (Kenny) McGhee, Pamala (Scott) Adams, Randall (Debbie) Brown, Jr; grandchildren Brittany(David) Rutherford, Shayne (Tessa) Lester, Jordan (John) Kicklighter, Kaleb (Lauren) Mock, Hunter (Summer)Thompson, Madison McGhee, Dakota (Emily) Strickland, Jake (Whitney) Brown, Abby Brown; great- grandchildren Ryleigh, Hudson, Brooks, Tate, Rhett, Wrenley, Kinsley, Stetson, Kove, Finley and Gavin.

His family will hold a small private service for close family in his honor.
