MARGARET ANNE CANGLEY, NEE` LYNCH
September 17, 1940 - October 30, 2025

"Margaret Anne Cangley, née Lynch, 85

Passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025 in Port Orange, Florida.

Peggy, as she was more affectionately known, was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 17, 1940 to parents Anne and Jack Lynch as the eldest of three daughters, Maureen Kelly (John) (decd. 2023) and Donna Ferrara (Vincent). Peggy graduated St. Brendan's high school and then attended Brooklyn College before getting married and completing her degree graduating from New Caledonia School of Nursing (now called SUNY Downstate) as an LPN and spent her professional career of over 30 years working as a nurse. Peggy married James Howell (decd. 2012) in 1959. They had five children, Joanne Marie (decd. 1959) , James Howell (decd. 1960), Mary Elizabeth Kelley (Robert), James Francis Howell, and Mathieu Howell (Brandi). In 1977 Peggy was remarried to Edward Cangley (decd. 2019) and they had a daughter, Danielle Lee Cangley (Martin Farias). The family eventually left Brooklyn and settled in Lantana, Florida. Peggy is survived by her four children, seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

The family will have a celebration of life on November 15, 2025 at The Lost Lagoon Wings and Grill in New Smyrna Beach."?"
