Clarence Adams Obituary
Thibodaux - Clarence P. Adams, a native and resident of Thibodaux, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at the age of 77.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Thibodaux Funeral Home from 8:30 am until the Funeral Service at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Anna Lee Legendre Adams; sons, Lance C. Adams (Monica) and Scott P. Adams (Melissa); grandchildren, Benton Adams, Grant Adams, Tana Bourgeois (Tim), Lane Foret, and Emma Foret; great-grandchild, Gram Perez; brother, Melvin Adams; sisters, Ruby Champagne and Lorraine Breaux; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Adams and Lelia Barrilleaux Adams; siblings, Gertrude Boudreaux, Anna Lee Vicknair, Andrew R. Adams, Mabel Boudreaux, and Elden P. Adams.
He served as a member of the Thibodaux Volunteer Fire Dept. Home and Hook & Ladder Company #1 for 59 years. In addition to his dedication to the fire company, he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
The family would like to thank the staff at Thibodaux Regional for their care and compassion.
