Dorothy Seely Obituary
Dorothy Moon Seely, 81, died Wed., June 27, 2012 at 5:30 pm. She was a native of Corsicana,TX and resident of Houma.
Visitation will be held on Sat., June 30, 2012 from 11 am. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Sat., June 30, 2012 at 1 pm. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Burial: St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
She is survived by her, sons, Michael Allen Seely and wife, Sheila, their children Amanda Seely, Kristi Seely Robert, her husband Stephen, their children Cooper and Carter all of Houma, Patrick John Seely and wife, Diane, of Houma, their children Ashley Seely of Baton Rouge, and Brian Seely and wife, Lindsay, and children Madeleine and Noah of Geismar; daughters, Susan Seely Faulk and late husband, Byron Faulk, of Broussard, her children Brett Faulk of Houston, and Michelle Faulk LeBlanc and husband, Sammy, and son Joey Bohannon of New Iberia, and Laurie Seely Dugas and husband, Noah "Buba" and their children Jarred, Baylen and Jayden of Prairieville; daughter-in-law, Jill Seely Bianca, her children Jacob Seely and wife, Erica, and Benjamin Seely and fiancee Tiffany Picou and their daughter, Aubree of Houma, brother, Mickey Don Moon of Houston, Texas sister, Billy Moon Oxner of Waco, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her, husband, Sidney John Allen Seely; one son, Daniel Bruce Seely; parents, Benjamin Franklin Moon and Frances Wynona Keys Moon; great-grandson, Christopher Faulk; sisters, Betty Frances Leleux, Belin Moon Segura, Jerry Moon Carrillo.
Her life was her family.

My Deepest Sympathy to the whole Seely clan, especially my lifelong friend Susan and her children. I see your Mom and Dad having an awesome reunion in Heaven. Your grandma Laura and Papa Pete just a smiling away and Byron in the background as quiet as ever with that grin on his face. For in Heaven there is no pain, suffering or sorrow, just here with us on earth as we mourn the passing of special people like your Mom! She is safely home! Love and prayers to all of you! To the whole family, but especially to my darling Laurie. We never want anything to end. We want the party to last forever and you know how we love a party. But when parts of the good times are gone, the only thing that helps us is to HAVE ANOTHER PARTY. So celebrate your wonderful mother. Laugh and cry, cry and laugh. It's what we do best. I can only imagine what beautiful reunions your mama had when she made her last journey. Now, all of you have your own roads ahead of you. So remember whatever love and advice she would have given, you better use or else she would probably fuss. Never forget that memories, love and family mean everything.
Take care of each other, lover each other, remember each other and you will live forever in God's loving arms

My memories of the Seely family are of one to never forget the enjoyment of friendship & happiness. Had some wonderful times together. I'm sure I speak for my whole family. From Juanita Benoit, Roberta(RIP), Margie (RIP), Robert (RIP), Myself- Julia, Gwen, Louis & Paulette. You will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved you, RIP Ms Dorothy, it was an enormous pleasure knowing you!!
