Dylan Bruce Obituary
Dylan Michael Bruce, 19, a native and resident of Galliano, died Saturday, June 25, 2011.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off. Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Larose, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his father, Chippy Bruce; his mother Heather Duet and stepfather, Hud J. Lee; his great-great-grandmother, Angelle Duet; his great-grandparents, Norris and Earline Sanamo Eymard, Audrey Richoux and Aubry Richard, Elma St. Pierre and Gilbert Duet Jr.; his grandparents, Robert and Carmen Eymard Bruce, John and Becky Richoux Lee, Charlotte Lee and Lonnie Rivers; one sister, Harley Lee; five brothers, Kaleb, Gage, Caden, and Koby Bruce, and Brannon Lee; his aunts and uncles, Nick and Matt Lee, Chuckie Duet, Tina and Tony Leger, Jolie Duet, and Holly and Carl Foreman; his best friend, Jesse Adams; and numerous friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, August and Pearline Guidry Bruce, Fred Richoux and Diana Ledet Duet; and his grandfather, Ferrell J. Duet.
He loved hanging out with friends, shopping, going to concerts, hunting and fishing.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of arrrangements.

Not a day goes by that I'm thinking about you why god called you home so soon. We can't believe that it has been a year already that you are gone. I'm sorry for all our disagreements that we had in our life. If only I could tell you that in person. Rest in peace my son. Until we see each other again. I'll be thinking of you everyday for the rest of my life. Dad loves you and misses you very much.

Heather, as a Mother my heart goes out to you! My prayers are with you for the difficult days ahead! Lean on GOD and let HIM light your way! This is the most difficult thing a Mother can experience!
