A man of God; feared no one but God. Loved his Eloise, loved his family and served his country and fellow man. What more could one ask of a man. Many of us fall short of that, some of us way short. He was a small figure of a man but God gave him the strength and the wisdom to slay any dragon. Never afraid to speak his mind and would let the chips fall where they may. Brother Eddie was an early afternoon inspiration for me at a very young age and not just at hitting a baseball. My thoughts and prayers to Miss Eloise and his entire family as you celebrate Eddie’s legacy.

It was only a few years ago that I saw Mr. Eddie above his carport, sweeping leaves off the roof. His determination was an inspiration! Heaven has welcomed a wonderful servant. God bless his precious family!
