Javetta Johnson Obituary

Javetta "Vetta" Johnson departed this life on Sunday, April 12, 2020, University Medical Center in Jackson, Miss. She was 28, a native of Napoleonville and a resident of Port Gipson, Miss.

A graveside service will be held at noon on Saturday, May 9 at Nelson Chapel AME Cemetery in Napoleonville.

Javetta is survived by her mother, Debra Johnson; father, Jeffery Jupiter; son, Tolby Clement; brothers Ronnie, Jonathan and Jamal Johnson; sisters Dena, Carla and Chelsea Johnson; maternal grandfather, Herbert Willoughby; companion, Tolby Clement Sr.; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter; son, Colby Clement; maternal grandmother, Mary Louise Montgomery; paternal grandmother, Mildred Jupiter; and paternal grandfather, Charles Howard.
