Mark Ordoyne Obituary
A visitation will be held in his honor from 8 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 9, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. The burial will follow in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Chackbay.
He is survived by his loving wife, Meta Ordoyne; children, Jamie Ordoyne, and Mark Ordoyne Jr.; grandson, Jordan Ordoyne Zsush; mother, Janice Breaux Ordoyne; brothers, Johnny Ordoyne Jr., Michael Ordoyne, and Kevin Ordoyne; mother-in-law, Therese Reulet; beloved canine companion, Jolie; and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and Brother Knights of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Ordoyne Sr.; grandparents, Clifton and Flossie Ordoyne, and Paul and Stella Breaux; father-in-law, George Reulet; and beloved canine companion, Maggie.
Mark had a huge heart and was a giving person. The Lord was always first in his life as he served God and mankind. His devotion to Our Lady of Prompt Succor was strong, and he spent much of his time volunteering for his church when he could.
Thibodaux Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
