Nancy DeHart

Nancy Punch DeHart, 62, a native of Waggaman and resident of Theriot, died at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, 2013.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m.Thursday and from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at noon Friday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Eloi Cemetery in Theriot.
She is survived by her husband, Clevis Joseph DeHart Jr., of Theriot; children, Kevin DeHart, of Metairie, Mrs. Aaron (Georgina) LaCoste and Chase DeHart and companion, Kayla Callahan, of Theriot; grandchildren, Aaron DeHart and finace, Shyanne Rodrigue, Jed LaCoste, Gage LaCoste, Cali Messemer and Landon Ledet, all of Theriot; brothers, Gerald "Jerry" and Elsie Punch, of Waggaman, Robert "Bobby" and Jeanne Punch, of Houma, Calvin Sr. "C.J." and Mary Francis Punch, of Theriot, Joffrey and Nancy Punch, of Theriot, Allen "Fatso" and Doris Punch, of Chauvin, and Alvin "PeeWee" and Ethel Punch, of Theriot; and sisters, Geraldine "Jean" Gros, of Houma, Mrs. Loran (Shirley) Dumond, of Theriot, and Mrs. Desire (Mary Nell) Callahan, of Houma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alex Sr. and Lydia LeBeouf Punch; and two siblings, Alex Punch Jr. and Mrs. Jarrell (Dora) Jordan.
She was a member of Bayou Dularge Baptist Church in Theriot.
She was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed on this Earth but is rejoicing with the Lord in Heaven. 2 Corinthians 5:8 states "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."
