Nolan Hester Obituary
Nolan Hester III, 35, a native of Raceland and resident of Opelousas, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2012.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Morning Star Baptist Church in Raceland.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Hester of Opelousas; mother, Denise Wright of Raceland; father, Nolan Hester Jr. of Thibodaux; son, Nacory Hester of Houston; daughters, Saterria Lawson of Raceland and two stepdaughters, LaDerricka Bell and LaSancheverez Savoy, both of Opelousas; sister, Chersten Hester of Raceland; five brothers, James Hester, Jarrid Hester, and Jeremy Hester, all of Raceland, Kentrell Duncan of Thibodaux and Arthur Gray Jr. of Gray; and grandparents, Amelia Lane, James Deseraux, and Dorothy Hester; and grandchild, Sany'ria Lawson.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Velva St. Thomas, Lorina Deseraux, and Nolan Hester Sr.
He was a member Morning Star Baptist Church.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
