Norman Guidry Obituary

Norman Joseph Guidry, 90, a Thibodaux native and resident, passed away Aug. 17, 2018, surrounded by his loving family.

A visitation will be held in his honor from 9 a.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Monday, August 20, 2018, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Rose Vicknair Guidry; sons, Larry Guidry and wife, Elizabeth, and Jace J. Guidry; daughters, Norma Riles and husband, Mike, Lisa Battaglia and husband, Sammy, and Connie Barbera and husband, Donald; sisters, Lucy Rodrigue, Anna Mae Blanchard, and Shirley Aizen; grandchildren, Holly Riles, Derek Guidry, Amber Smith, Gia Bourgeois, Seve Battaglia, Beau Barbera, and Logan Barbera, Grant Seiferman and Emily Seiferman; and great-grandchildren, Mekena Miller, Whitney Guidry and Brooks Barbera.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Leticia Ordoyne Guidry; brothers, Edward, Curtis, Leroy, Charles Jr. "C.J", and Ray Guidry; and sister, Beverly Ockman.

Thibodaux Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
