Patsy Keeling Obituary
Patsy A. Keeling, 74, a native and resident of Houma, died at 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 2012.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Religious services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
She is survived by her sons, Gene Johnson and wife, Debbie, Dean Johnson, Derek Griffin and wife, Robin, and Michael Griffin; daughters, Natalie Boudreaux, Sandra Johnson, Cheryl Kohoutek and Amy Bonvillain; brother, Carroll Lirette; sisters, Barbara Laughlin and Geri Nesit; and 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Deon Junior Johnson; parents, Ivy and Sarah Trahan Lirette; son, Daniel Johnson; grandchild, Johnnie Honeycutt; and brothers, Larrel Lirette, Lyod Lirette, Aaron Lirette and Randolph Lirette.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.

The death of a mother is the first sorrow wept without her. A mother holds her childrens hands for awhile but their hearts forever. Your mother will always be in your hearts. So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with each one of you.
