To the Rathle family,
Dr. Rathle was my instructor for Physical Chemistry in the early 1990(s). I was a non-traditional student at that time and his encouragement helped me to venture onward. I also enjoyed the conversations we had in French. Thank you and R.I.P.

Dr Rathle inspired me physically, mentally, and spiritually. He was a wonderful professor at Nicholls who believed in redemption and second chances. He was a professor who befriended you and cared for you. He definitely helped to mold my quick wit and sense of humor. Thank you, Dr Rathle, for crossing paths with me. Que Dieu te recoive dans son royaume eternel.

Dr. Rathle taught me at Nicholls. One of my favorite professors of all time. His wit and humor were unmatched. Very sorry to hear of his passing, but he lived a long, remarkable life. RIP mon ami!

Deepest sympathy and prayers to the family. I remember Yves and Jean as students at EDW many years ago. What a beautiful legacy their father left for them to carry on.

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Dr. Rathle on this great loss.
I will miss his presence and his humor when our paths would cross at the gym, but I will always remember him fondly.
May he rest in God's eternal peace among the angels and his beloved wife.

I will miss my friend. My deepest sympathy to you all. From our years at Nicholls to our years at the gym, he always had that wry smile and twinkle in his eye. And frequently an extremely corny joke to share. What a long and distinguished life.
