Ralph Tramontana Obituary
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux. and from 8:15 a.m. until funeral time Friday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial at a later date.
He is survived by his wife, Anne Mary Martin Tramontana; parent, Pearl Gautreaux Tramontana; daughters, Jenica Walker and husband, Timothy, and Bethany Tramontana; brothers, Mark Anthony and Joseph Dean Tramontana; sister, Roxanne Tramontana; and grandchildren, Gianna Marie and Jeffrey Aaron Walker.
He was preceded in death by his parent, Rocco Tramontana; child, Riley Scout Tramontana; and grandparents, Dennis and Annie Gautreaux, and Rocco and Lena Tramontana.
Ralph will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ralph Tramontana Memorial Fund at any Capital One Bank location.
Landry's Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.

My favorite memory of Ralph: I was working with Anne on her unit. The phone rang and Anne answered it. Holding the receiver she said, "Cindy, it's for you". The voice on the other end was a man claiming to be UNDERDOG. Puzzled, I looked at Anne and repeated what he said. She laughed and said, "It's Ralph". Needless to say he was cracking up that he got me! Ralph was that awesome person who spread joy, love, and laughter to all. My love and prayers to you, Anne, and your Family<3

My wonderful, beautiful brother...Life will never be the same without you! Your smile, warmth, humor, loving heart and soul have radiated our lives for 57 years and I can't imagine not having you here to bless us with your love, kindness and wit anymore! Our hearts will forever hold an emptiness without you and a sadness no other could ever replace! You are our shining star and I have been so blessed to have you as my brother and to have had all your love and support always! You are missed already ,but you are so happy with God ,it makes it a lil easier for everyone ,I'm so happy to have run into you a few weeks ago after not seeing you for quite some tme before ,,,but you hadn't changed the same Big Teddy Bear with a big smile and a bear hug !! We were very saddened at the news of our friend's passing. Such a happy guy; an inspirational guy; a compassionate guy. I have never heard anyone speak a negative word about him, only good. May his memories live on in all of our hearts until we meet again!

Ralph will be missed by many but forgotten by none. He made everyone he met smile with his awesome sense of humor and was a true friend in every sense of the word. Some of my fondest memories are those of road trips with Ralph as a BAND DAD at EDW. He kept us in tears with his wit and humor and with Ralph there was never a dull moment. He overcame so much to leave us so soon. Rest in Peace my good friend. I hope God is ready to laugh.

Ralph was like a big brother to me. We had so many fun times playing golf, going to New Orleans and just being jolly Ralph. He cared so much about his family and friends. He never knew a stranger. We really had a lot of fun at lake verret in his boat, El Dago. It was a privilege to know and share my life with this special man.

I never had the privilege of meeting Ralph; however we were friends from the start.
I worked with Ralph for over 12yrs, he always knew how to make me smile. He was special to me because we always talked about our children and our love of our families.
After he went to a different place to work, we would send pictures of our families and keep in touch. I know he will be greatly missed. My prayer for your family is to hold on to all those great moments in life and know that you had a godly husband, father and grandfather and I had a godly friend. Now he will watch from above. May you find comfort in knowing how many people he touched with that kindness and love. May God wrap his arms around you and comfort you with peace.
