Ray Bergeron Obituary
Memorial Visitation will be held Monday, March 28, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with burial in Saint Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 in Houma.
He is survived by former spouse and mother of his children, Earline Babin Bergeron; sons, Barry Bergeron and wife, Tenna, Timmy Bergeron and wife, Patricia "Patty," and Kirk Bergeron and wife, Brenda; daughters, Pamela Bergeron Lirette and husband, Nolan, and Alice Bergeron Crochet and husband, Barney; sister, Jeanne Bergeron Knittle; 10 grandchildren, Barry "Tony" Bergeron Jr., Tenna "Katie" Bergeron, Robert Bergeron, Cole Bergeron, Taylor Bergeron, Trey Lirette, Sarah Lirette, Grant Crochet, Cammy Crochet and Brandi Richards; and six great-grandchildren, Mia, Lucia, Tye, Greyson, Luca, and Liam
He was preceded in death by parents, Kirby Pierre and Ann Marie Theriot Bergeron; brother, Francis Bergeron, and sister-in-law, Vergie; sister, Heloise Bergeron Pineda; and brothers-in-law, Jimmy Pineda and Richard Knittle.
He was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church and was a retired oilfield salesman. He served in the U.S. National Guard. He enjoyed woodwork, gardening, dancing and hunting.
A special thanks to Chateau Terrebonne and Haydel Memorial Hospice for all their loving care and compassion.
In lieu of flowers donation to Chateau Terrebonne or Haydel Memorial Hospice to help others in need.

I met Mr. Ray about 3 years ago. He became very dear to me and my husbands heart. We often visited him and talked more on the phone. But every time we talked, it was about JESUS. about a year and a half ago he also prayed with us to receive Jesus in his heart. ❤ We truly loved our dear friend. And he VERY MUCH loved my pralines! He will be missed but we know, we will see him again, after Jesus calls us home with him. We are so thankful to the Lord that our paths had crossed. We pray for the family. Peace , love and Gods blessings. We shall never forgot our dear friend/brother, Mr. Ray!
