I knew Raymond from our days at Loyola University. I was very saddened to hear of his passing. I am not from Louisiana, but Raymond and his family (we met when he brought some friends to his sister's wedding), made me feel very welcomed. In fact, I have not moved from Louisiana yet! I have very fond memories of that time in my life, and Raymond was a big part of it. Unfortunately we lost touch over the years since, but it's comforting to see that he lived a full life surrounded by people who loved him. Condolences to his family and friends.
