Ruby Boudreaux Obituary
Ruby Boudreaux, 85, a native of Labadieville and resident of Thibodaux, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012.
Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Monday at Thibodaux Funeral Home. Religious services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
She is survived by her son, Raymond Boudreaux and wife, Joanne Boudreaux of Moss Point, Miss.; granddaughter, Amy Boudreaux; grandson, Alex Boudreaux and step-grandson, Ted Garcera; great-grandson, Shannon Boudreaux; great-granddaughters, Brittany Boudreaux and Courtney Boudreaux; step-granddaughter, Linsey Garcera; soon to be great-great-grandson, Owen Joseph Blanchard; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Avit Joseph Boudreaux; her parents, Basile and Octive Lebeouf; sisters, Rita Guillot, Edwina Guillot, Rose Cressoine, RoseMae Tauzin, Celia Daigle, Maggie Cressione and Melodia Guillot; and brother, Nick Leboeuf.
Ruby retired from Thibodaux Regional after working there 25 years. Ruby loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was excited about becoming a great-great-grandmother to Owen.
We would like to thank Easter Seal and Affinity Care for their assistance. Also, a big thanks to her caregivers Barbara Baker and Beverly Mayles.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help with funeral expenses are preferred.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Aunt Ruby even though it has been a while since I last saw you, you were never to far in my thoughts. I still remember visiting you as a small child, memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Granny may you R.I.P. now that you in heaven. Go dance with the Angels an have a blast. It was AWESOME to have a Granny like you for the 41 years of my life. Only if heaven had cell phones. I know you will be looking down on your grand kids,great grand kids and soon to be great great grand son Owen. We know you not suffering no more.Granny,My heart never felt so much pain
