Sarah is survived by her sons, Robert K. (Myra) Matthews III, Ryan K. Matthews; daughters, Robindel M. (Gregory) Jenkins and Billie J. Evans; sisters, Pearl B. Jones, Louise B. (Anthony) Richard, Elizabeth B. Jones and Gloria B. (Lionel) Smith; and brother, Warrence Bennett Sr.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Zachary and Octavia Nixon Bennett; son, Ralph L. Matthews; and sisters, Octavia B. Jones, Ledoria B. Watkins and Joann B. Thomas.
Gertrude Geddes Willis - Terrebonne Funeral Home, 617 Bond St. of Houma in charge of service.
