Amber Kingsley Obituary

AMBER DAWN KINGSLEY, 31, left this earth after a year long battle with cancer and entered into Heaven, August 3, 2005. She leaves behind cherished memories of a loving wife and mother who was strong, brave and dedicated to her faith. Her husband and three girls will always remember how she loved giving to others, even when she was sick herself. She was the proud and dedicated owner of Legacy Allstars, where she worked hard and taught the phrase, "Think Pink". Yet somehow in the middle of all her extra curricular activities, Amber still managed to do everything else she loved, scrapbooking, writing, and most of all shopping. She was cherished and dearly loved by her family and friends and will be missed by all those who knew her. Amber is preceded in death by her father: Kenneth White and is survived by her mother: Sherrill White, husband: Brad Charles Kingsley, three daughters: Kaylan, Kendyl and Kimmie Kingsley, sister: Carrie and husband T.C. McCray, father-in-law: Jon and wife Tawna Kingsley, mother-in-law: Linda and husband Ken Patterson. Visitation will be held 6-8 PM, Saturday, August 6, 2005 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home. Services will be held 5 PM, Sunday, August 7, 2005 at First Baptist Church of The Woodlands, 11801 Grogans Mill Road, The Woodlands, TX. 77380. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kingsley Children Scholarship College Fund at the Woodforest Nat'l Bank.

I was only blessed to have known Amber for a brief year. But it that time you could always see God in her. She was always seeking to help others, even in her time of need. Many times while she was waiting for her doctor appt. she would be preparing for her Sunday school class. She loved her entire family tremendously. She scheduled her treatments so that she could be with her girls as much as possible. She was a blessing to me and touched my life. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to have known her in my life. I will keep the family in my prayers.

My heart is heavy as I think of the loss of my friend, Amber. I will always remember her generosity, bright smile, and loving spirit.

Amber was a beautiful young lady, in many different ways - spiritually, physically, just to name 2 of them. Heaven has gained one of the saints that the Bible says heaven rejoices over. I believe she heard Christ say, "Good job, my faithful servant." She is an inspiration to me and to many others in the way she handled her illness claiming her faith the entire time.

I am very saddened to learn about Amber's passing. Cheerleading has lost a great asset and will not be the same without her. May God give her family the strength and love to get through this very difficult time and know that we are all here for you if you need us.
