I wish there had been more of Anita's story in the Obit's. She retired from Anadarko Petroleum Corporation after 30++ years and supervised the lease data records in a condition, which was the envy of the industry. I believe she enjoyed her total life, including her retirement years with no regrets.

How I treasured the days spent with Anita in the first week of Jan. It was good to revisit childhood times, family reunions, and her visits to my home in Georgia.
I admired her spirit of independence and her loyalty to her good friends and to her family,
She was generous with her love for the four legged buddies that she so enjoyed.
By the grace of our Lord and Savior we will meet again. PTL!

Anita, wow what a lady, one of a kind, one in a million, yes they broke the mold. I was so thrilled when she and Becky came to wisconsin. I want to belive they came to see me.A baseball
game and a Zoo visit that I will never, never forget I can't remember four people ever laughing quite that hard.
We love you, thank you cousin you were the best.

Words fail me in times like this. Anita was such a funny, kind and exceptional lady. I could listen to her tell her hilarious stories all day. She will always have a special place in my heart and my memories of her will be with me forever.

God broke the mold when He made Anita. I feel blessed to have known her in both my personal and professional lives. She will live on in my heart and those of many others. If there is no baseball or Snoopy in heaven, I'm sure there will be shortly!

My thoughts and prayers are with Anita's family. She was a funny, sweet person and always smiling. I was very lucky to have had the opportunity to know her.

Anita was a person I could always rely on to help me when I needed to know Anadarko history. She seemed to always have time for me. She is a great loss.

Anita was one of a kind. She was a great friend who would do anything for those she loved. I am blessed to have been counted amoung those Anita called a friend. She always stood by me through thick and thin. I miss her more than words can express. But memories of her will never leave me.
