Anna A. Deden
1924-2021
Anna Dell Arrington Deden of Conroe, Texas passed away on December 4th, just shy of her 97th birthday. She was born on December 15, 1924, in Madill, OK to the late Ira and Eula Mae Splawn Arrington.
Anna graduated from Madill High School where she was the valedictorian. She started work as a secretary during World War II and later studied accounting leading to working for several small businesses as their accountant and for H&R Block as a tax preparer. However, she always felt that her primary job was taking care of her family which she did with much love. Her smile was unmistakable when she was with her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and faithful Christian. She also loved to sing, sew, cook, and garden.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, John T. Deden, her sisters Eva Nell and Louise and many beloved cousins, family members and close friends. Survivors include her daughters Ann Deden (Andrew Walls) and Cassie Deden Wiley (John), grandchildren Kristen Wiley James (Ben), Travis Walls and Drew Wiley (Vivian Tan) and her great grandson Barrett Paul James.
A family graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston on December 10th.
